Maybritt Vigl: Personal best time at her World Cup debut

Maybritt Vigl from Ritten competed in her first World Cup race in Salt Lake City (USA). The speed skater achieved a personal best time in the 500 meters.

Vigl competed in the B division in Salt Lake City and made a convincing debut in the World Cup (she is the first South Tyrolean to compete in the Speed ​​Skating World Cup since 2016). Vigl completed the 500 meters in a time of 38,64 seconds, a new personal best for the 21-year-old.

In the final results, Vigl finished in 20th place. Ying-Chu Chen from Taiwan secured the victory. Chong Pei (China) and Iori Kitahara (Japan) completed the podium.
