The national squads for biathlon and snowboarding have also been determined

Next up is the presentation of the state squads for the 2025/26 season. This time, it's the turn of the biathlon and snowboarding disciplines: 13 ski hunters and eight snowboarders will represent the South Tyrol Winter Sports Association next winter.

Georg Altstätter and Isabella Filippi remain in charge of the national biathlon squad. Christian Braunhofer and Armin Kasslatter have been confirmed as coaches, while Niko Larch and Jan Kuppelweiser are also part of the coaching team. The only new addition to the five-member men's squad is Rene Tirler (born 2008/SC Gardena/from Castelrotto), while Alex Fontana (2007/SC Val Gardena/Ortisei), Gabriel Haller (2007/ASV Ridnaun/Viccio), Elias Niederstätter (2008/ASV Ridnaun/Aldein), and Felix Wolf (2009/ASV Antholzertal/Reischach) remain part of the national squad.

The national biathletes, however, number eight, with six newcomers to the squad. These are Elsa Canins (2009/SC Alta Badia Nordic/St. Kassian), Anna Maria De Angelis (2008/ASV Ridnaun/Pfitsch), Katia Pallua (2009/SC Alta Badia Nordic/St. Kassian), Verena Pallua (2009/SC Alta Badia Nordic/St. Kassian), Ilvy Marie Markart (2009/ASV Ridnaun/Ratschings), and Teresa Seeber (2009/ASV Antholzertal/Antholz Mittertal). Anna Anvidalfarei (2008/SC Gardena/St. Ulrich) and Sara Eisath (2009/ASV Ridnaun/Bolzano) remain on the national squad.

Eight Brettl virtuosos are in the national squad

The national snowboard squad features eight young athletes. They are joined by Thomas Fachin (2009/ASV Burgstall/Valdidentro), Tobias Mutschlechner (2010/ASV St. Vigil/St. Vigil), Maris Baumgartner (2010/ASV Villnöß/Villanders), and Lucy Call (2008/ASV St. Vigil/St. Vigil). Also on the squad are Kevin Crazzolara (200/ASV Snowboard Gherdeina/Stern im Gadertal), Edoardo Leone Da Col (2007/ASV Welschnofen/Carezza), Emma Dorfmann (2008/ASV Villnöß/Brixen), and Sofia Federspieler (2007/ASV Villnöß/Villnöß).

Nothing has changed regarding the management and the coaches: Roland Unterleitner is in charge of the snowboarders, and the board virtuosos are coached by Gert Ausserdorfer and Mirko Barcatta.
