The last national squads have been defined
The presentation round of the South Tyrol Winter Sports Association's national squads concludes with the teams from the Nordic disciplines (cross-country skiing, Nordic combined, ski jumping), the luge (natural and artificial track), and the freestyle (skiing and snowboarding). These comprise 43 athletes.

The national cross-country skiing squad continues to consist of six female and seven male athletes. Noah Heinrich Senoner (born 2008/Gröden/S. Cristina) joins the junior men's squad. Also participating are Carlo Bettini (2007/ASC Sesvenna/Albosaggia – Sondrio), Riccardo Foradori (2004/ASC Sesvenna/Deutschnofen), Aaron Gallmetzer (2007/ASC Sesvenna/Marling), Lukas Schwingshackl (2007/ASV 5V Loipe/Pichl Gsies), Elias Oberhöller (2007/ASC Sarntal/Sarnthein), and Ruben Wurzer (2005/ASV 5V Loipe/Monguelfo Taisten).
Giada Fachin (2006/ASC Sesvenna/Valdidentro) and Lea Hintner (2007/ASV 5V Loipe/Welsberg Taisten) have been added to the women's squad, while Eva Bergmann (2007/Ski Club Toblach/San Candido), Lotta Haselrieder (2007/Kronspur ALV/Bruneck), Annika Hofmann (2007/ASV 5V Loipe/Welsberg Taisten), and Livia Kargruber (2006/ASV 5V Loipe/Welsberg) remain. As in the previous season, Björn Angerer, Veit Angerer, Rudolph Prieth, and Walter Stanzl will serve as coaches. Walter Eberhöfer is in charge of the entire Nordic division.
Eberhöfer is now also responsible for the four athletes on the national Nordic Combined – Ski Jumping squad. Niklas Perathoner (2012/ASC Val Gardena/Überwasser Kastelruth) has been added to the squad, while Iorio Min (2008/ASC Val Gardena/Bolzano), Anna Oberhofer (2008/ASC Val Gardena/Gsies), and Leonie Runggaldier (2009/ASC Val Gardena/Castelruth) remain on the team. Min and Runggaldier also compete for the B team of the Italian Winter Sports Federation (FISI). The national squad coaches, Romed Moroder and Mattia Runggaldier, remain the same.
14 lugers represent South Tyrol
From skis to skates: A total of 14 winter sports athletes are represented in the two national luge squads. Four new natural track lugers are joining them: Simon Gamper (2010/ASV Feldthurns/Feldthurns), Jakob Gruber Genetti (2010/ASV Völlan/Völlan), Alexander Staffler (2010/ASC Laas/Laas), and Romi Oberprantacher (2010/RV Passeier/San Martino in Passiria). Franziska Hofer (2009/RV Passeier/Platt in Passiria), Simon Reichhalter (2008/ASV Völs/Seis am Schlern), Matthias Telser (2009/ASC Laas/Laas), and Elisabeth Tinzl (2006/ASC Laas/Laas) will be competing for another season with the national squad. Hannes Plattner and Severin Unterholzner remain on the coaching team, and Greta Lauria and Patrick Staffler also provide new input from the trainers.The artificial track luge team remains a very young national squad, led by a new coach, Shamira Brunner. Sophia Oberhauser (2012/ASV Gitschberg/Mühlbach) and Aaron Stolzlechner (2014/ASV Gitschberg/Meransen) have been selected for the squad, while Eleonora Petritsch (2014/ASC Val Gardena/St. Christina), Leon Tschaffert (2014/ASV Wengen/Wengen), Maximilian Winkler (2012/ASV Gitschberg/Rodeneck), and Anna Winkler (2012/ASV Gitschberg/Rodeneck) remain members of the national squad. Armin Niedermair is responsible for the entire luge department.
12 freestylers want to show their tricks
The remaining squad consists of the national freestylers. Those on skis can welcome three new faces to the squad: Jakob Aichner (2010/ASC Hafling/Hafling), Jonas Gasslitter (2009/SC Gardena/Pontives), and Alex Putzer (2010/SC Gardena/Wolkenstein). Elia Baez Locher (2008/ASV Ritten Sport/Bolzano), Liam Gamper (2009/ASV Ritten Sport/Klobenstein), and Laurin Volgger (2008/AFC Vitamin-F/Terenten) remain in the squad. The coaches remain the same: Fabian Oggiano and Pascal Runggaldier will be supervising the six athletes.The national freestyle snowboard squad also boasts six members. Marika Frenademez (2007/Seiser Alm Skiteam/Stern) is a new addition, while Nicole Bazzanella (2009/Seiser Alm Skiteam/Völs), Marian Brunner (2007/ASC Olang/Antholz), Jan Fulterer (2004/Seiser Alm Skiteam/Seis), and Ben Marmsoler (2010/Seiser Alm Skiteam/Seis) remain in the squad. The snowboard coaching team, consisting of Daniel Gruber and Manuel Kritzinger, has also remained. As has the coach, none other than overall World Cup winner Silvia Bertagna.
