The Vikings make it really exciting

The Minnesota Vikings have caught up with the Detroit Lions in the NFL and created great excitement in the final weeks of the regular season.

The 30:12 win against the Chicago Bears was the Vikings' 12th win in 14 games of the season. The team is now level with the Lions and is only in second place in the NFC North because of the loss in the direct duel. The two teams will meet again on the last day of the playoffs, and this match could be the final decision for the better starting position on the way to the Super Bowl.

In the parallel game, the Atlanta Falcons narrowly beat the Las Vegas Raiders 15:9 and kept their own hopes of the playoffs alive. After four defeats in a row, the win in Las Vegas was hugely important. The Falcons led 15:3 well into the final quarter, but a late touchdown for the hosts made the game exciting again. Atlanta now has seven wins and seven losses and still has a chance of catching the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the top of the NFC South. The Bucs have eight wins and six losses.
