As if Tom Brady's 7th Super Bowl triumph and the fairytale of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium weren't enough to talk about, there was a lot of crazy surrounding the NFL finals this year too. A speedster in a scandalous outfit, disregarded Corona rules in the stands and wild party scenes on the streets of Tampa are still causing discussions long after the Super Bowl.

According to US media reports, the first incidents occurred before the major sporting event began. Spectators in and around the Super Bowl stadium in Tampa did not adhere adequately to the Corona rules. The US news agency reported with reference to eyewitnesses AP on Monday (CET) by numerous people without masks around the venue of the National Football League finals and many rule violations at Raymond James Stadium.

25.000 spectators were allowed in the arena for the duel between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs, including 7.500 healthcare workers who had already been vaccinated. Cardboard figures on other seats are intended to ensure the necessary distance between groups of fans and give the impression of a full stadium. The stadium's capacity is normally 75.000 spectators.

There was a bit of excitement shortly before the end of the game: a speedster caught everyone's attention. The man ran across the field in the fourth quarter wearing a tight pink top and shorts and the game had to be stopped. The US television cameras immediately faded away. As seen in photos, the man was overpowered by security forces on the lawn. How the incident could have happened given the strict security rules remains unclear.

The appearance no longer had a major influence on the game. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and superstar quarterback Tom Brady were already leading 31-9 against the Kansas City Chiefs before this scene. This was also the final score.

After the game, fans celebrated wildly for hours on Tampa's streets. Corona security measures were repeatedly suspended.

But it wasn't just the fans, Tom Brady also went into raptures after the game.
