BC Milano prevailed in the final, defeating ASV Marling. The match for third place was particularly exciting: SC Meran and Boccardo Novi battled it out in a closely contested duel. After a 3-3 draw, the total points scored ultimately decided the outcome in favor of the South Tyrolean team, who thus secured the bronze medal.
ASV Mals finished fifth after a 4-1 victory against CUS Bergamo. The host team, ASV Überetsch, also put in a strong performance. After two draws and two wins, they defeated Brescia Sport Più 4-2 and finished the tournament in seventh place.
The president of the Italian Badminton Federation, Carlo Beninati, expressed his satisfaction with the event and particularly praised the venue. He stated that Kaltern had proven to be extremely hospitable and offered ideal conditions with its modern infrastructure. The participating clubs, he added, were exemplary of a mature, fair, and passionate sport that would serve as a model for future generations.
The tournament impressively underlined the importance of South Tyrol as a venue for major national sporting events – and marked a successful debut for the new hall in Kaltern.
