The 21-year-old from Bolzano reached the quarter-finals at the Slovenia Futures, where she was narrowly defeated in three sets. At this tournament, juniors Ruben Fellin (Bolzano) and Anna Hell (Eppan) celebrated their debut at a world ranking tournament. Marco Danti, on the other hand, is playing for the Junior World Championships with two podium places.

Four players from the SBS - South Tyrol Badminton School competed in international tournaments in September. First and foremost Yasmine Hamza. The Bozen native, who missed the Olympics due to a cruciate ligament tear, returned to the tour after a ten-month break with two victories. At the Slovenia Futures, she only had to admit defeat to the Belgian Clara Lassaux in three sets in the quarterfinals. This moved Hamza up to 220th place in the world rankings. Before her injury, she was in the top 90. There are further world ranking tournaments in Uganda and Egypt in October.

Anna Hell and Ruben Fellin celebrated their debut at a world ranking tournament in Slovenia. Despite the defeat, it was an important experience for the two juniors. David Salutt from Merano reached the final in the mixed doubles together with Martina Corsini. For Salutt, it was the ninth medal at a world ranking tournament.

The 17-year-old Marco Danti, on the other hand, has achieved two podium places from his appearances at junior tournaments. At the Polish Junior Open, he and Simone Piccinin from Milan were defeated in the doubles final by a Thai pair. Last weekend, the two Azzurrini were able to take revenge on the Thais at the Slovenia Junior, before being eliminated in the semi-finals. Danti and Piccinin set off yesterday for a training camp in Indonesia lasting several weeks, before the Junior World Championships in Nanchang, China, are scheduled for October 7-13.
