4-1 home win: The Wolves take the lead in the series

The Wolves played in the Rienz Stadium at home with the best line-up, while the Rittners once again preferred Di Bendetto over Rissmiller. The first third was relatively even. There were chances on both sides, but the spectators initially didn't see a goal. In the second half of the game, the home team was able to immediately use a numerical advantage to their advantage and take the lead with a goal from Armin Hofer in the 20.46 minute.
