Cavaliers bring an old acquaintance to the bench

The Cavaliers are integrating a familiar face into their coaching staff: Tuomo Harjula is returning to the bench as assistant coach for the new season.

The native Finn has lived in South Tyrol for many years and has recently made a name for himself as an experienced youth coach with the Neumarkt/Auer junior teams.

From 2019 to 2022, the now 47-year-old served as assistant coach for the Cavaliers in the IHL for three seasons – now he will once again be in charge on the bench alongside Head Coach Juhani Matikainen.

As a player, Harjula was previously active in the top league of his home country, later he played in Austria, Denmark, in Neumarkt, for EV Bozen and for HC Eppan.
