Cavaliers say goodbye to two stars: “Infinitely grateful”

The Unterland Cavaliers announced the departure of two of their players on Monday. Nicoló Remolato and Michael Sullman will no longer play for the South Tyrolean club next season.

"Two fighters, two team players, two people who have shaped our team," read the Cavliers' official statement. "We are infinitely grateful for your tireless commitment, your passion, and all the unforgettable moments we were able to experience together. All the best for your next adventure!"

Homegrown player Remolato made 36 appearances for Unterland last season (9 goals/15 assists). The 20-year-old made five appearances for the Italian U19 national team this winter (1/6 appearances). Sullmann, however, is a veteran player who is leaving. The 34-year-old from Neumarkt was considered extremely important not only on the field, but also in the locker room. In his 38 games this season, he contributed 8 goals and 11 assists.
