Interim coach Horsky is leaving HC Pustertal

In the summer, Philippe Horsky moved to HC Pustertal as assistant coach to Stefan Mair. After his former boss was fired, the 39-year-old Viennese promoted himself to head coach. Now Horsky has left the club.

The HCP said goodbye to Horsky with a short post on social media. The Wolves announced that the contract with the Austrian had been terminated by mutual consent. It is not known where Horsky is headed, but the young father is said to prefer a commitment close to his home.

Horsky had a high standing in Brunico and was promoted to interim coach after Mair was fired. He achieved 13 wins in 6 games before returning to the second tier after Tomek Valtonen was hired. Horsky had previously turned down a one-year contract as head coach.
