“There is no favorite”: Spornberger’s big return

Peter Spornberger spent last season in Bolzano. The Ritten native returns to the Talferstadt on Wednesday evening. When HCB Südtirol and ERC Ingolstadt face off in their fifth Champions Hockey League (CHL) game at the Sparkasse Arena, many eyes will be on the 26-year-old defenseman. He moved to Germany at the age of 16, where he is currently in his tenth season.
