1st Amateur League: Passeier separates from coach Pignatelli

SC Passeier has parted ways with coach Roberto Pignatelli. There is an internal solution for the second half of the season, which begins at the weekend.

State league relegated Passeier was only able to score 9 points in the fall. This means that the club from St. Leonhard is also in acute danger of relegation in the 1st amateur league. Only Aldein Petersberg and Schluderns (both 5 points) are behind the Psairers.

The point tally was also the main reason why Roberto Pignatelli had to leave the club. The coach was fired and replaced with an internal solution. Michael Siller (sports director) and Michael Righi (section manager) are supposed to be the coaching duo to ensure that they stay in the league. SC Passeier begins the second half of the season on Saturday against Nals.

What else has happened?

The championship race in the 1st Amateur League Group A is extremely exciting. Three clubs (Tscherms Marling, Oberau, Gargazon) are at the top with 3 points. Behind them lurks Kaltern (26) and Nals (24). Bottom team Schluderns has strengthened itself with striker Martin Gander (he comes back from Austria). Plaus can rely on Thomas Nischler (Naturns) in the future and Olimpia Meran has snapped up Alex Salvi from competitor Haslach. Janusch Garzisi and Julian Schwarz (both on break) are back at Gargazon. Oberau will have to do without Shkelqim Lekiqi (to Milland) and Manuel Mariz (Mölten Vöran) in the second half of the season.
