Fabio Bertoldi hits the heart of Bruneck

The 19th national league matchday continued on Sunday. Salurn caused a surprise, bringing the top team Bruneck to their knees.

With three wins from three games Brunico started the second half of the national league flawlessly. The Pusterers have thus increased the pressure on leaders Brixen. But now there is a bitter setback for Roberto Fuschini's team: Against Salurn Stefan Nagler & Co. had to accept a 1:2 defeat.

Simon Baldo gave the Unterlanders the lead after just 18 minutes, and a little later Nagler equalized with a penalty. As a result, a game developed on a knife's edge, which Salurn's exceptional talent decided in the last minutes of the game: With his 21st goal of the season, Fabio Bertoldi scored a 2-1 win and right into Bruneck's heart. The backlog to SSV Brixen, who won his match against Val Gardena 2-1 in the evening, is now eight points.

Points that are important for survival for Weinstraße Süd

In the relegation cracker of the round there was Wine Route South a strong sign of life. Towards the bottom Selection Ridnaun Valley It was clipper Cristian Zanotti who scored the winning 90-1 with a penalty goal in the 0th minute. The Unterlanders not only scored their first goal of the second half of the season, but also achieved an immensely important “threesome” in the fight to stay in the league. In Ridnaun Valley, however, the situation is becoming increasingly dire.

Laces has now lived up to its reputation as a high-flyer and has... Ahrntal celebrated a 3-0 win. Christian Pixner's team remains in third place and is now only three points away from second place. The other state league games took place on Saturday.
