Mbappé can join PSG again

After the transfer disputes between star player Kylian Mbappé and Paris Saint-Germain, the striker is back in team training.

After “very constructive and positive discussions” between both sides, the 24-year-old French international soccer player returned to team training on Sunday, PSG said.

This means that Mbappé's future seems to be more open again. French media reported that Mbappé would not leave PSG this summer. The newspaper Le Parisien wrote without citing sources that the star player was no longer closed to a possible contract extension with the French capital club. The transmitter RMC wrote that anything remains possible in the transfer dispute.

The dispute has been simmering for weeks. Mbappé had announced that he did not want to extend his contract, which runs until 2024. There were rumors that PSG was looking for a move during this transfer window. Mbappé had already been discussed several times as a potential new signing at Real Madrid. A few weeks ago, the Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal was said to have rejected the striker with a record offer of a reported 300 million euros.

French media recently reported that Mbappé had to train with a group of players with whom the club was not planning for the season. The club also played the opening game of Ligue 1 without Mbappé on the pitch. A few days ago, coach Luis Enrique struck a conciliatory tone. “I hope that the club and Mbappé will find an agreement,” he said.
