Letsch new coach at RB Salzburg

Thomas Letsch is returning to his former club RB Salzburg. The Austrians announced this.

Letsch and VfL Bochum had previously terminated the existing contract. The 56-year-old was released from the club eight months ago. Letsch has been given a contract in Salzburg, where he was already employed from 2012 to 2015, until July 30, 2027. The Austrians are still playing in the Champions League.

"It feels very good to be back here. For me, FC Red Bull Salzburg is a special club with which I have already experienced a lot," said the new head coach. The German worked in Bochum for 19 months. Letsch will succeed the sacked Pepijn Lijnders in Salzburg and is to be officially presented on January 3rd.
