Allegri to Milan: First summer coaching deal confirmed

The first coup in the Serie A coaching market was confirmed on Friday. Massimiliano Allegri is returning to Milan and will be in charge of the club from now on.

An agreement between Allegri and Milan was reported on Thursday, and it became official on Friday afternoon. The former Milan champion coach (2011) is returning to the Rossoneri. The club previously announced the termination of Sergio Conceicao's contract.

Allegri has signed a two-year contract with Milan, with an option for further seasons. He is expected to earn around €5,5 million per year. For the Tuscan, this marks his return to the coaching position after a sabbatical.
