The next Serie A club has set up camp

On Monday evening, the next prominent football guests arrived in South Tyrol. The Italian first division club US Lecce moved into their base in Brixen.

After a charter flight to the north, the Giallorossi from Apulia arrived in the cathedral city shortly before 20 p.m. on Monday.

The team bus took them directly to check-in at the four-star Hotel Dominik, located at the mouth of the Rienz River, not far from Brixen's old town. The professional footballers will be staying there until August 4th.

The first training session for sought-after star striker Nikola Krstovic and his teammates is scheduled for 9.30:17.30 a.m. on Monday in Natz. Coach Eusebio Di Francesco will ask his players to return to work for a second time at XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. at the Laugen Arena north of Brixen.

Three test matches are scheduled

As part of the two-week training camp in the Eisack Valley, Lecce will also play three friendly matches. This Wednesday (19 p.m.), the Serie A club will face newly promoted ASV Natz, followed by a clash with Serie B side Spezia at the stadium on the Fischzuchtweg in Brixen on Saturday (18 p.m.). The final match of the training camp will be against another second-division side, Carrarese. This match will take place on August 3 at 17.30:XNUMX p.m. in Kaltern.
