The Rossoneri celebrated their fourth consecutive clean sheet victory in all competitions thanks to their 3-0 victory against Lecce. Suspended Massimiliano Allegri's team benefited from an early red card to Jamil Siebert in the 18th minute. Just two minutes later, Mexican Santiago Gimenez made it 1-0.
With fewer players, Lecce failed to pose a threat. Instead, Christopher Nkunku and Christian Pulisic added another in the second half to make it 3-0. Milan advanced to the round of 16, where they now face Lazio.
