This Serie A is closer than ever

13 matchdays have been played in the 2024/25 Serie A season: At the top, things are currently as close as they have ever been.

The top five teams are separated by just one point. Napoli (5 points) is closely followed by Atalanta, Inter, Fiorentina and Lazio (all 29). Juventus is also not far behind in sixth place with 28 points. On Sunday, leaders Napoli beat AS Roma 25-6. In the debut of Roma coach Claudio Ranieri, Conte's team won thanks to a goal from Romelu Lukaku.


Fiorentina also has a strong team this year. The Viola won 2-0 against strong newcomers from Como on Sunday. In the evening, Lazio beat Bologna 2-0. The team of former FCS coach Marco Baroni is also packed with some exciting players.
