Diletta Leotta is the most famous TV presenter in Italian football. Almost 10 million fans follow the DAZN face on Instagram. But even a star like her can get a bad turnaround, as she recently said.

The story took place in Berlin, more precisely in the infamous Berghain, one of the most popular clubs in the world. Leotta wanted to go on a short vacation to this well-known disco with her partner and professional goalkeeper Loris Karius, but it's not that easy.

The bouncers laughed and turned them away

“They look closely at who is allowed in and who isn’t,” explained Leotta in an interview Radio 105. “I went there with a yellow coat and a big smile. The bouncers looked at me and immediately said no. And they laughed, even laughed. Loris then immediately left with me, because no means no. I’ve never been rejected so badly.”

So the star factor doesn't play a big role at Berghain. The Berlin nightclub is known for its endless queues and strict entry procedures. Even though there is no official dress code, visitors to Berghain mostly wear black outfits. It can often depend on the bouncer's mood as to who is allowed in and who is not.

In any case, the door was the last stop for Leotta. But she is personally happy. She recently became a mother for the first time and is on cloud nine with Loris Karius (he currently plays for Newcastle United).
