The Serie A team wins in Kaltern

On Sunday evening, Serie A club Lecce and second-division side Carrarese faced off in a friendly match in Kaltern. The first-division club narrowly prevailed.

Thanks to a first-half goal from Helgason, Lecce beat Carrarese 1-0. South Tyroleans Emanuele Zuelli and Simone Zanon were both in the starting lineup for the Serie B club. For Carrarese, it was the first friendly match of their training camp in Oltradige.

Carrarese will hone his form at the Altenburg Sports Center until August 8. One day before his departure, on Thursday, August 7, there will be a friendly against Kalterer SV at 17 p.m.
