Recently, things haven't been going particularly well for Inter in Serie A. In addition to victories, there have also been several draws and defeats (1:1 against Milan, 0:1 against Juventus, 0:3 against Florence). In the home game against Genoa, the Neroazzurri were nervous for a long time, but were ultimately able to rely on their captain and won 1:0.
The hosts had significantly more of the game in the first half, but were unable to convert this into dangerous scoring opportunities. It was therefore not undeserved that the score was 0:0 at half-time. After the restart, coach Simone Inzaghi made three substitutions and this paid off in the end. Inter pressed harder and harder for the lead and 12 minutes before the end of normal time, captain Lautaro Martinez relieved the 70.000 spectators in Milan's San Siro.
International teams remain winless
AC Milan suffered a sobering defeat. The reigning Supercoppa winners lost 1:2 away to Torino. The Piedmontese took the lead after just 5 minutes thanks to an own goal by Malick Thiaw. After Christian Pulisic missed a penalty in the 32nd minute, Tijjani Reijnders equalized in the 74th minute. In the end, however, it was the hosts who celebrated, as just 120 seconds later Gvidas Gineitis decided the match in Torino's favor. The footballers from Bologna had a similar evening. The Champions League participant had to admit defeat against Parma with a score of 0:2. The goals were scored by Ange-Yoan Bonny (37th) and Simon Sohm (79th). Lazio at least managed to get a point. Away in Venice, the Laziali could only manage a 0:0 draw.
