Inter's captain pulls the chestnuts out of the fire

Lautaro Martinez is a major figurehead at Inter – and he is on the verge of cementing his place in the club's history. On Sunday, the Argentinian single-handedly led his Nerazzurri to a 2-0 victory in Pisa – both goals were scored by Martinez.

With this goal, the star striker now has 163 goals for Inter, just eight away from catching Inter legend Roberto Boninsegna for third place on the club's all-time scoring list. "I work for myself, for my team, for my family. I let others do the talking," said Martinez, who constantly has to endure criticism.

Thanks to the victory, Inter keeps pace with the top two in Serie A: Milan and Napoli share first place with 28 points each, while Inter, along with Roma on 27 points, follows in fourth place. Speaking of Roma: The capital club suffered a painful 0-1 defeat against Napoli in Sunday evening's top match of the round.
