Italiano new coach in Bologna

Vincenzo Italiano will be the new coach at Bologna FC. Last year's Fiorentina coach took over on Wednesday from Thiago Motta, who did not extend his contract with the future Champions League starter.

Italiano (46) had reached the Conference League final twice with the Florence team in recent years, but lost both. According to media reports, Motta is about to join former series champions Juventus Turin, where he will replace the dismissed Massimiliano Allegri. Juve will also compete in the Champions League in the next European Cup season.
