Now Red Bull is also entering Serie A

The energy drink manufacturer Red Bull has now also invested in a Serie A team.

Red Bull will be sponsoring Torino FC in the future. The club announced that a one-year sponsorship contract with Red Bull has been signed. The Salzburg-based company has not sponsored an Italian football club before.

Red Bull and Torino have a number of similarities. The football club's symbol and shield is a rampant bull, the traditional symbol of the city of Turin, from which the club's nickname "Il Toro" comes. Red Bull also has two bulls in its corporate logo. Torino FC has a historic rivalry with local rivals Juventus, the most successful team in Italian football.

Torino has had a successful start to the new Serie A season. After three matchdays, the club is in third place with seven points behind league leaders Inter and Juventus. Since the start of the season, the club has been coached by Paolo Vanoli, who led FC Venezia back to Serie A last season after two years.
