Tudor's debut successful: Juve wins again

Juventus Turin celebrated a successful debut under new coach Igor Tudor, defeating Genoa 1-0. The decisive goal came in the 19th minute from 25-year-old Kenan Yildiz, who finished with an impressive solo effort that saw him dribble around several opponents and fire in a tight angle. With the win, Juventus remain in fifth place with 55 points, just one point behind fourth-placed Bologna, while Genoa sits in 35th place with XNUMX points.

Tudor, who replaced Thiago Motta as head coach just a few days ago, immediately made tactical changes, including switching to a three-man defense and deciding to start Dusan Vlahovic up front instead of Randal Kolo Muani.

Juventus began the match aggressively, while Genoa had several chances in the early stages, but failed to capitalize. After Yildiz's opening goal, Juventus largely controlled the game, although Genoa had a good opportunity to equalize shortly after halftime. In stoppage time, Timothy Weah missed a chance to extend the lead, but ultimately Juventus secured a narrow but important victory.

Como and Empoli drew 1-1, while Bologna FC secured a 1-0 away win against Venezia. The draw keeps Como in the middle of the table, while Empoli continues to fight for survival. With the away win, Bologna consolidates its place in the top four and remains firmly on course for the Champions League.

Like Juventus, Roma is also moving ever closer to the Champions League places. Thanks to their 1-0 away win at Lecce, the capital city club moved up to sixth place in the table and are currently four points behind Bologna. Lecce, on the other hand, remains in the relegation battle. Artem Dovbyk scored the winner in the 80th minute.
