a Serie B

Sampdoria talent Luca Polli will play in Serie D in the future.

Bozner leaves Sampdoria: New club for Luca Polli

He is one of the lesser-known South Tyroleans in professional football, but Luca Polli has worked consistently on his path in recent years. Now the Bolzano native, who is under contract with Sampdoria, is about to make his first appearance in adult football.

Polli has played 68 times in Italy's best youth league, the Primavera1 championship, in recent seasons. The South Tyrolean striker collected 15 points for Cesena and Sampdoria. However, as things stand, the 20-year-old has no future at the traditional club from Genoa. That is why a new club was sought for the former U18 national player.

They finally found what they were looking for in Serie D. Polli was originally supposed to gain experience in Serie C, but because he couldn't find an ideal club there, he moved to Club Milano in Serie D on the last day of transfers. In Group B, Polli will face Chievo Verona, among others, who are considered a hot contender for the title.

Mayr stays at Altamura

Noah Mayr, on the other hand, has not moved. The Eppan native has been given the confidence by his club Altamura (Serie C, District C) that he can make a breakthrough in the 3rd division after a year's injury break. In the summer, Mayr speculated in an interview with SportNews that he might be loaned to another Serie C or a top Serie D club.
