Raphael Kofler is considered one of the greatest talents in South Tyrol. Now the Partschinser has been called up to the Italian youth national team in the service of FC Südtirol.

From November 6th to 8th, a screening training session for the Italian U19 national team will take place at the Coverciano training center. Raphael Kofler will also be there. The 18-year-old FC Südtirol professional was called up by team boss Bernardo Corradi for the three-day training camp, which, among other things, serves to prepare the Azzurrini for the upcoming qualifying round of the European Championship in Boras (Sweden). Italy will face Sweden, Switzerland and Liechtenstein in the tournament.

Kofler took his first steps in the FC Südtirol team this season. In August, the Partschins player made his competitive debut in the Italian Cup against Sampdoria, where he was on the pitch until the 86th minute. The tall Kofler, who can be used both in central defense and in defensive midfield, was also used from the first minute in the first four league games. In total, the youngster made five Series B appearances.
