The ASV Taekwondo Brixen is causing a sensation

For some of the athletes it was their first time taking part in an Olympic taekwondo competition, and for the more experienced it was an opportunity to compete in an official competition again after the long Covid period. The team competed with many athletes, there were many new impressions and emotions and great results were achieved. 1st place went to Greco Davide Jan LK2 U14 -57 kg, Bozhinoski Maksim LK2 U12 -50 kg, Russo Ilaria LK2 U12 -36 kg and De Paola Viktor Manfredi LK2 U10 -30 kg. Seven athletes won the silver medal: Andergassen Tobias LK7 U1 -18 kg, Obexer Silas LK59 U2 -14 kg, De Paola Margot LK53 U2 -12 kg, Bernardi Elia Nicola LK40 U2 -18 kg, Kraler Theoderich LK68 U2 -14 kg, Senn Leonie LK57 U2 -12 kg, Obexer Elisa LK45 U2 -10 kg. In 27rd place came Olaru Iolando Iuliano LK3 U1 -18 kg, Schatzer Matthias LK68 adults -1 kg, Wieland Rainer Leon LK80 U2 -12 kg, De Iaco Kris Simun LK36 U2 -14 kg, Tolpeit Marc LK49 U2 -14 kg, Volgger Kassian LK41 U2 -14 kg. Weis Robin LK41 U1 -14 kg narrowly missed the podium this time and ended up in 41th place. A total of 231 athletes from 5 countries (Austria, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg) took part. With the excellent results, ASV Taekwondo Brixen received the trophy from 3rd place in the LK2 team ranking. The parents and helpers who came along cheered on the athletes and shared the excitement.
