The 16th consecutive championship title for KK Neumarkt is no surprise. However, the fact that the Lower Austrians only secured it on the penultimate matchday is. Burggräfler stay in, Kurtatsch third Neumarkt secured its 16th championship title with a decisive 8-0 victory over Nals. The Lower Austrians' joy over the championship title is probably as great as the long-awaited comeback of Vilmos Zavarko. The exceptional Serbian player was back in the Neumarkt lineup for the first time against Nals and promptly achieved the day's best score of 638 pins.

Zavarko had to watch his team's games from the stands throughout the entire season. After a persistent knee injury, the Serbian had to undergo surgery, which kept him out of action for a long time. Nevertheless, Neumarkt can look back on a decent season, even if it took them longer to win the A1 league title than in previous years. They also won the Italian Cup, made a notable third-place finish in the Intercontinental Cup last October, and reached the quarterfinals of the Champions League.

Burggräfler secured their place in the league with a 6-2 victory over Sarnthein. Kurtatsch, on the other hand, secured third place in the table thanks to a 6-2 victory over Passeier.

Jaufenburg and Eppan are relegated In the women's A-League, all decisions have been made. Fugger Sterzing was already confirmed as champion, and since last weekend, it's also clear who will be relegated.

Jaufenburg and Überetsch Eppan have been hit hard. With one matchday remaining in the championship, neither club has a chance of catching up with their rivals. The two clubs met last matchday. Überetsch Eppan won 5-1, but even that wasn't enough to avoid relegation. At the same time, they also condemned Jaufenburg to relegation.

Nevertheless, a highly exciting clash awaits on the final matchday. When Tirol Mutspitz and Kiens meet on Saturday at 16 p.m., the battle for third place in the table will be over. Both teams are tied on points in third and fourth place, and Sarnthein can no longer catch them.

Both teams lost their last match. Kiens lost 1-5 to Passeier, while Tirol Mutspitz lost 2-4 to Ratschings.

The Ratschings team also secured their place in the league. In the first match, Petra Haller (Ratschings selection) clearly defeated Gabriele Gamper (Tirol Mutspitz) with a score of 559:502 (4:0 in set points). Silvia Gaiser then equalized for Tirol Mutspitz by defeating Andrea Mair 492:479 (2:2 in set points). Edith Pfattner struck back for Ratschings selection, defeating Sara Waldner 559:532 (3:1 in set points). However, Tirol Mutspitz again equalized, this time thanks to Dora Rinner's best performance of the day against Gabriele Volgger (561:521 pins, 3,5:0,5 in set points). Ratschings prevailed in the overall result, winning the match with a final score of 2118:2087.
