This victory is balm for the Sarner Kegel soul

For Sarnthein, the season has not gone as planned so far. After 8 match days so far, sports captain Josef Obkircher's team only managed 3 points. It was clear before the duel against bottom team Passeier, which still has no points in its account, that a win was immensely important.

And the Sarner bowlers also delivered. In the end, Sarnthein secured a clear 6:2, in which one Passeier player once again stood out: Oswald Kofler is really not the reason that Passeier has not been able to score yet. With 594 pins, the Passeirer sports captain was once again the best of the day. His counterpart Walter Innerebner scored 559 set points with his 1,5 pins, but the match point went to Passeier.

The people of Sarnen are ahead in the direct duels Just like the duel between Passeier's Walter Raich (554 cones) and Sarnthein player Manuel Geier (552 cones). In the remaining duels, Sarner always scored points. Josef Obkircher gave Helmut Zipperle the disadvantage with 558:542 bowling, Christian Plattner (565) beat Hugo Ennemoser (557) in an exciting duel. Franz Obkircher was clearly superior to Markus Prünster with 582:552 pins and Erich Ainhauser beat Stefan Marth with 561:553 pins. In the overall result, Sarnthein was ahead with 25 pins (3377:3352).

The Fugger Vipiteno and Kurtatsch swim in completely different waters as second and third in the table. The Fuggers won the direct duel and showed that behind Neumarkt they are South Tyrol's top team. The performance of newcomer Florian Thaler, who swept a strong 635 pins from the home track in the Bliegerstadion, was particularly remarkable. From Kurtatsch's point of view, Andreas Dalvai trumped with 622 pins, but that didn't change much in the final score of 6:2.

Women: Tirol Mutspitz continues to play great Tirol Mutspitz is in the top 3 of the women's A class. Although the Burggräflerinnen played two or one more games than their pursuers from Sarnthein and Vöran Blecherne, the 2-5 win against Verdings already secured points number 1 and 12. Verdings even took the lead when Nadia Unterfrauner clearly won against Nina Oberhofer with 501:476 pins. Silvia Gaiser immediately corrected the result against Hildegard Faltner, who knocked down 452 pins, with the best performance of the day of 554 pins. Then it was Dora Rinner's turn against Verena Peer and she also triumphed. While Rinner knocked down 522 pins, Peer had to be content with 491 pins. In the last duel of the day it was Tyrol's sports captain Gabriele Gamper who clearly defeated Karin Hasler. 533:481 bowling, 4-0 in set points – Hasler had no choice but to congratulate her opponent on her good performance. The overall result also reflected the superiority of the Tyroleans. With 2085:125, the hosts were in the lead with a total of 160 pins and were thus awarded the last two match points.

Ratsching's selection also eliminated its direct opponent for 6th place. The Ratschingen women around the day's best Edith Pfattner (568 pins) won against Jaufenburg with 4,5:1,5 and thus caught up with Jaufenburg in the table.

The Fugger Sterzing march further ahead. The front-runners showed no weaknesses against the penultimate Plose, with Laura Runggatscher scratching the 591 mark with 600 pins.
