The Fugger Sterzing won against Überetsch Eppan 6-0 and are thus champions for the 9th time in a row, second place goes to Villnöß, which could only manage a 2-3 draw against Burggräfler. Fugger Sterzing defeated Überetsch Eppan 6-0, thus remaining the undisputed champions of the women's A-League since the 2015/16 season. The relegation battle is exciting. Überetsch Eppan needs a bowling miracle to avoid relegation, and the second relegated team will likely be decided between Jaufenburg and Ratschings. Men: Important points and a fatal blunder Regarding the men's team: This victory could have been decisive for Lana. Last matchday, they defeated Nals 6-2 in a clash with Burggräfler, moving three points clear of the relegation zone. Nals, on the other hand, are in a relegation spot, as are bottom-placed Pfalzen, who, however, celebrated a convincing 3-7 home victory in their direct clash with Burggräfler and can therefore continue to dream of staying in the league. Along with Lana, Nals, Burggräfler, and Pfalzen, the Ratschings selection is also still involved in the relegation battle. In the relegation clash between Lana and Nals, the hosts left nothing to chance. Georg Plaickner got off to a strong start against Florian Egger, winning 566-530 (3-1 in set points). Christian Mocanu quickly redeemed himself for Nals by defeating Hannes Pichler 601-557 (3-1 in set points). Then Christian Gruber (Lana) and Kurt Plunger (Nals) took to the lane. Nals struck back again, this time through Roland Lechner, who defeated Julian Piazzi with 582:559 (3:1 in set points). Then the hosts turned things around, even though the fifth duel was decided by a narrow margin. Johann Rungaldier (Lana) defeated Horst Steinhauser (Nals) by 5 pins, both earning 7 set points, but Rungaldier won with a final score of 2:565. Reinhard Obergasteiger made a more decisive impression against Nals' Szabolcs Tòt, winning with the best score of the day, 558:609 pins. Fugger Sterzing, on the other hand, suffered a slip-up in the battle for the championship title. The Wipptal team could only manage a 4-4 draw against Algund and are now three points behind thanks to Neumarkt's 7-1 victory against Passeier. This means Neumarkt can claim the title next matchday.
