Favorites disqualified, Canada wins, Jacobs & Co. fourth

The men's 4x100-meter race came to a strange end on Friday evening. While the defending champions from Italy came in a good fourth, the clear favorites from the United States came away empty-handed. Canada surprisingly snatched the victory.
