Jbari and Bettin win the Teroldego Half Marathon

Among the men at the Teroldego Half Marathon, which started at 17 p.m. on the Piazza della Chiesa in Mezzocorona, Khalid Jbari from Bolzano (Athletic Club 96 Bozen) immediately took the lead. After the first 14 kilometers, Jbari was in the lead for more than five minutes and crossed the finish line after 1:11.50 hours. “Today was tiring. I slowed down a bit in the second part of the route because I was too hot and I still have last Sunday's half marathon in Bibione in my legs. But I’m happy with how the race went today,” said Jbari at the finish.

Simon Stifter from Pusteria came in second place in the half marathon, which ran from Mezzocorona to Roverè della Luna, back again and then towards Mezzolombardo and back again. The Pustertal Running Club athlete crossed the finish line 7.20:1 minutes after Jbari and was about a minute ahead of Filippo Arcari (Atletica Clarina), who finished third. Armin Varesco (21.27:1) and Mirco Rossi (Trentino Running Team/23.14:XNUMX) took fourth and fifth place.

Loretta Bettin wins among the women Loretta Bettin (Atl. Paratico) was the best woman in the half marathon with a height difference of minus 128 meters. Like Jbari, the Trentino native from Zambana led from start to finish. Although Arianna Lutteri from Veneto caught up in the second part of the route, Bettin managed to cross the finish line first with a time of 1:25.33 hours. “It was very tough today, with the headwind from Roverè della Luna to Mezzocorona and on the climb to Roverè I had difficulties. Normally I prefer flatter races, but this race is at home and I'm happy with the way it turned out," Bettin said after the race. Behind her, only 22 seconds behind, was the former Italian champion Arianna Lutteri (ASD Team KM Sport) from Veneto. Anna Tadiello completed the podium, but crossed the finish line over 13 minutes after Bettin. Finished fourth

The best time was achieved by the duo “Le due valli” consisting of Alessio Loner and Massimo Leonardi, who completed the race after 1:16.16 hours. The best mixed relay was the “Team Loppio 1” of Giulia Carlin and Flavio Berloffa, the best women’s relay was Gulia Brugnara and Lucia Pedranz with the “Giulia-Lucia” relay.

The Teroldego events in the Piana Rotaliana were a real running festival, in which non-competitive runners also took part. You could register for the “7km del Teroldego”. "We are satisfied. It was a nice edition of the Teroldego Events: over 500 people took part, all races went well.
