Marie Burger shines at the Ladurner Grand Prix in Val Gardena

Marie Burger particularly shone among the U16 girls. The 15-year-old from Vahrn from SSV Brixen ran the 80 m hurdles in a good 12.38 seconds. So she missed her personal best, set this year in Brixen, by just 15 hundredths. Burger was also able to impress in the high jump with 1.49 m. In the end, she finished third behind the two hosts Alessio Goffi (1.55 m) and Jana Tomasi (1.49 m). Winner Goffi improved her previous record by an impressive six centimeters.

Among the boys of the same age, Simon Federer from Kalter won the 300 m in 38.46 seconds, while Mattia Cruciotti from Bolzano won the 100 m hurdles in 15.11 seconds. Paul Tit from SSV Bruneck secured the long jump with 5.52 m.

The athletes in the U14 age group, however, competed in a four-way competition. Three groups with different disciplines were formed. In the girls' category, the victories went to Magdalena Mur from Kaltern (2.256 points), Alexa Schneider (2.528) from SSV Bruneck and Katharina Feichter from Meran (2.420). In the four-way battle between the boys, however, the two Passeirians Yannick Windegger (1.865) and Samuel Prünster (1.809) as well as Daniele Tomasi (2.532) from the Bolzano club CSS Leonardo da Vinci were able to prevail.

In optimal conditions, the third stage of the Ladurner Grand Prix took place on Saturday in St. Christina in Val Gardena after a two-month break.
