Thomas Schiffregger is the U18 Italian long jump champion

17-year-old Thomas Schiffregger was crowned the new Italian long jump champion for under-18s on Saturday in Milan. With a distance of 6,87 meters, the athlete from SSV Bruneck won an extremely even competition with a lead of just three centimeters over Ferdinand Ugonna Egbo from San Vito al Tagliamento and nine centimeters over Mattia Zagotto from Vicentina.
