Italian Trial Championship: Pichler wins women's category B

Last Sunday, the 2025 Italian Outdoor Trial Championship concluded on the picturesque trails of the Apennine Mountains in Fiumalbo, where the final Italian championship titles were awarded.

Among the outstanding participants were well-known names such as Matteo Grattarola, Fabio Mazzola, and Francesco Vignola. Andrea Sofia Rabino prevailed in the women's A category. In the B category, the big winner was Laia Pichler of the Motoclub Trial Team Südtirol, who took the title with an impressive performance.

Pichler completed a total of six races, winning five of them and achieving third place once. This secured her the championship title ahead of Alessia Nucifora and Alice Parodi. Also worth mentioning is the strong result of Francesco Titli, who finished second in the TR1 category and also competes for the Trial Team South Tyrol.

Laia Pichler's success is the result of intensive training, accompanied by her father, Richard Pichler, himself a renowned trials rider. Pichler trains at the Motoclub Trial Team facility in Aldein, which was recently also used for bike trials competitions.

Pichler also achieved considerable success at the international level: she took part in the European Championships and was part of the national team at the “Trial of Nations”.

Congratulations to Laia and her family were conveyed by the President of the FMI Bolzano Regional Committee, Marco Bolzonello, who emphasized that, despite the challenges and costly travel, trial sport brings great satisfaction to the pilots and dedicated motorcycle clubs such as the Trial Team South Tyrol and the MC Neumarkt.
