Motorcycle blessing in Neumarkt inspires participants

On Sunday, the traditional motorcycle blessing of the Motoclub Neumarkt took place in Neumarkt for the 43rd time - an event that has long since established itself as a fixture for passionate motorcyclists.

This year's event was once again a resounding success: Over 2.000 motorcyclists from across the region flocked to Neumarkt to celebrate the start of the new season together. "It's always impressive how many passionate motorcyclists make their way to Neumarkt. We're particularly proud that we've achieved another record number of participants this year," explained Dietmar Eisenstecken, President of the Motoclub Neumarkt.

FMI regional president Marco Bolzonello also had some memorable words for the popular event: "The motorcycle blessing is a highlight that never fails to impress. It is a pleasure to welcome so many like-minded people from all over South Tyrol here. My thanks go to the Neumarkt Motoclub for the excellent organization." Neumarkt's mayor, Karin Jost, spoke enthusiastically about the event: "It's fantastic to see how a shared passion brings people together. My wish for all participants is a successful and, above all, accident-free 2025 season." In addition to Mayor Jost, her deputy, Giorgio Nones, and the municipality's sports assessors were also present to attend the event.

In addition to the numerous participants, several institutions were also represented, including the White Cross, the Carabinieri Motorcyclists of the Provincial Command, the Bolzano AIDO local group, and the Egna village police. Dean Gabriele Pedrotti performed the blessing, and his words contributed to an emotional climax. Another attraction was the FMI regional association's booth, which, as usual, was well attended. Motoclub President Eisenstecken also thanked the many helpers and partners whose commitment made this year's event another impressive success.
