Strong Kalterer on Monte Bondone

Last weekend the 73rd edition of the Trento-Bondone hill climb took place, organized by the Scuderia Trentina of the Automobile Club d'Italia.

The hill climb starts in Trento and ends with an altitude difference of 1.350 m on Monte Bondone and, with a length of 17,30 km, is the longest hill climb in Europe.

In total, just over 260 participants from home and abroad took part. Among them were two drivers from RC Kaltern: Stefan Kraner with his Clio RS Cup and Martin Sieberlechner with his Peugeot 106 S16. Stefan Kraner achieved an excellent 2nd place in his Racing Start Plus 2000 group and Martin Sieberlechner a very good 3rd place in his E1 Italia 1600 group.

The traditional hill climb also delighted the many fans with a very strong turnout from South Tyrol. The overall victory went to Luigi Fazzino with Osella PA30.
