Illmer starts the Transalp with a win – Poier third, Weiss fourth

The fastest women at the start of the TOUR Transalp were Marina Ilmer and Edith van den Branden. The woman from Val Venosta and her Belgian partner completed the first stage in 3.54:42:2.14 hours. Illmer's last year's teammate Beate Zanner, who is riding with the Austrian Nadja Prieling this year, came in second, XNUMX minutes behind.

In the Grand Masters, Marco Poier from Kurtinig and his German partner Erwin Hickl came third. The two won the TOUR last year. Victory went to the German-Swiss pairing consisting of Peter Hafenrichter and Harry Nussbaumer, who crossed the finish line with a driving time of 3:45:11 hours ahead of the two Trentino drivers Silvano Janes and Gabriele Valentini (+1:19 minutes).

In the Masters, Hans Peter Obwaller and Bernd Hornetz won with a lead of 57 seconds over Stefan Oettl and Wolfgang Hofmann. 3.21 minutes after the winners, Werner Weiss and Jörg Ludewig crossed the finish line in fourth place.
