De Gendt sprints to victory in stage 8
The Belgian Thomas de Gendt celebrated his second stage victory in the Giro d'Italia on Saturday after a ten-year break. The 35-year-old from the Lotto team held his own in a sprint from a breakaway group of four on a circuit with an undulating classic profile (153 km) in Naples.
