Valentina Strohmer and her mare Laqueria have galloped away from the competition over the past two weekends: out of six starts, she finished second in the B2 category and won four times in the B6 category. Leonard Alexander Gruber, at five years old, was the youngest participant in both tournaments and debuted with his Minstrel in the L100 category with clear rides.
On the first weekend, Sabine Lanthaler and her Geoffrey also competed three times, achieving a third, a second, and a first place in the B110 category. In the more difficult categories of the tournament, C135, C140, and C145, Carolin Dorfer and Gregor Gruber, as always, impressed with excellent rides and placings, including a third and sixth place for Gregor in the 140, and a ninth place for Carolin in the 140.
A great success for the Merano Equestrian Center and its trainer Melanie Gruber, who tirelessly dedicates herself to the training of her students and their horses. Melanie herself was successful with Kaprice in the over-135 and over-140 categories and competed for the first time with her young horse Thilde in the 6-year-old categories, immediately placing 6th. In the coming weeks, the Merano team will be preparing for further national tournaments and the Northern Italian Championships.
