ATP Vienna: Zverev and Berrettini win at the start

The ATP 500 tournament in Vienna began without defending champion Jannik Sinner. On Monday, Alexander Zverev and two Italians moved into the next round.

Alexander Zverev has mastered the opening hurdle at the ATP tournament in Vienna with ease. The number one seed from Hamburg easily beat the Austrian Joel Schwärzler 6:2, 6:2. In the round of XNUMX, Zverev will face the winner of the match between the two Americans Alex Michelsen and Marcos Giron.

Zverev, who recently had to deal with the after-effects of pneumonia, was clearly superior to the 347th player in the world rankings. The German only fell a little behind on the match point. After 67 minutes, Zverev only converted the fourth match point.
