The 22-year-old Spaniard won his quarterfinal in Paris against Tommy Paul 6:0, 6:1, 6:4 and didn't give the American a chance.
In the semifinal on Friday, Alcaraz will face Italian Lorenzo Musetti, who is in the semifinals at Stade Roland Garros for the first time. The 23-year-old defeated American Frances Tiafoe 6:2, 4:6, 7:5, 6:2. Jannik Sinner will fight for a place in the semifinals on Wednesday afternoon.
Alcaraz dominates at will
Alcaraz got off to a furious start on Court Philippe-Chatrier. The world number two won the first seven matches and dominated the action at will. Unlike in previous rounds, when he occasionally faltered and lost three sets, the Spaniard remained focused this time and secured his place in the final after just 1:34 hours. "I simply had an incredibly good feeling on the court today," said the outstanding Spaniard.
