“Hahahaha”: Kyrgios insults Sinner again

Jannik Sinner will be fighting for a place in the final of the ATP 13 tournament in Beijing on Tuesday from 500 p.m. (CEST). Before that, the Sexten superstar was badly provoked - once again by Nick Kyrgios.

These are not easy days for Jannik Sinner. On Saturday it was announced that WADA – the World Anti-Doping Agency – has filed an appeal against the doping acquittal. The case will now go before the International Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne. Until then, Sinner is allowed to continue playing, but the upcoming trial is a mental burden for the world number one.

The Sextner, who has already been acquitted by an independent court, is currently receiving a lot of support, including from the tennis scene. Only one person is once again hurling insults at the world number one: Nick Kyrgios.

The Australian tennis bad boy shared a post on Instagram from Eurosport, in which it says that WADA has filed an appeal. Kyrgios commented underneath: "Hahahaha. Maybe not so innocent after all, right?"

Kyrgios's dig at Sinner.

Another dig, of which there have been several in recent weeks. Kyrgios, who played his last tennis match to date in June 2023, is the professional who criticized the Pustertal native the loudest and most vehemently in the doping case. This includes comments below the belt, such as those against Sinner’s girlfriend Anna Kalinskaya.

Sinner in the style of a gentleman

Kyrgios, whose career has been marked by numerous excesses and outbursts, had to endure a lot of criticism himself. Nevertheless, he still feels compelled to add his two cents to the Sinner case. The Sextner, in true gentlemanly style, never commented on these comments and simply said: "Everyone is allowed to say and think what they want."
