“An unforgettable moment,” enthuse Barbara Obkircher (left) and Laura Perktold, who met Jannik Sinner.

Jannik Sinner mingles with the South Tyrolean people

Jannik Sinner is currently on vacation at home. And he is also very down-to-earth – much to the delight of the South Tyrolean fans.

Because of the doping scandal, Jannik Sinner is not allowed to take part in any tournaments until May 4th and is currently only able to train to a limited extent. The best tennis player in the world has therefore taken the opportunity and taken a vacation at home. Normally, such visits are few and far between in the Sextner's busy schedule, so he is now enjoying the free time with his family and friends all the more.

On Saturday, photos emerged the Sinners showed while skiing in Sexten. Otherwise, Italy's currently most popular sportsman mingled with the crowd in the style of a simple Puschtra Buis. There was great astonishment when Sinner stopped off for lunch with his family at the Eppan Golf Club on Sunday.

Fan dreams come true

The three-time Grand Slam winner also made many fans' dreams come true. "He took photos, signed autographs and gave everyone great joy. An unforgettable moment," is how readers Barbara Obkircher and Laura Perktold described their encounter with the superstar. Jannik Sinner is and remains the South Tyroleans' favorite!
