Jannik Sinner's foray into Formula 1

The world's best tennis player is currently enjoying a break after his successes at the ATP Finals and in the Davis Cup. Before he gets back to action on the tennis court in a few days, a particularly fast-paced adventure is in store.

Jannik Sinner is currently in his adopted home of Monte Carlo, where he is doing a lot of relaxation in addition to the odd relaxed training session. However, the 23-year-old from Sexten will be travelling again on Wednesday, when he is expected to attend the Italian Tennis Federation's big gala evening in Milan.

Next weekend, Sinner will get on the plane again. The destination: Abu Dhabi. There, the number one in the tennis world rankings will be the guest of honour at Formula 1. At the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, he will pay a visit to the Ferrari pit, congratulate the newly crowned world champion Max Verstappen and take a look behind the scenes on race day.

From Abu Dhabi to Dubai

Sinner had already accepted an invitation from Ferrari in the past and met the Scuderia drivers, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, at the factory headquarters in Maranello.

For Sinner, however, Abu Dhabi is just a stopover on the way to Dubai, where he will then spend almost two weeks preparing for the new season. In addition to sessions on the pitch, the program primarily includes a series of athletic and conditioning exercises. The Pusterer can then rest at Christmas, when he pays a visit to his family in South Tyrol for several days.
