Jannik Sinner's ex-girlfriend breaks her silence

While Jannik Sinner is on a high in his sporting and private life, things have been very quiet recently around his ex-girlfriend. Now Maria Braccini has spoken out.

Jannik Sinner couldn't be happier at the moment. The Sextner is the number 1 in the world, is currently playing well at Wimbledon and is also happily in love. With Anna Kalinskaya, who is also a tennis player, the Puschtra Bui is a new dream couple in the scene with the yellow felt ball. Sinner also followed a match of his new love very closely at Wimbledon.

The love outing came at the French Open at the end of May. This also made it clear that Sinner and his long-time girlfriend Maria Braccini were going their separate ways. Things had already been noticeably quiet around the influencer (she has almost 400.000 fans on Instagram). Braccini made her last post on social media at the end of March, when she was at a tournament in Miami with Sinner. Since then, nothing has been heard from the Italian.

Now, more than three months later, Braccini has turned to her fan community again. But anyone who expected words about the split with Jannik Sinner was disappointed - at least for the most part. Sinner and Braccini always placed great value on their privacy, which is still being respected after the split.

"On social media, I have never spoken about myself, never revealed anything about my private life or what I am doing," Braccini's entry begins. "Over the past few years, I have worked hard to fulfill one of my biggest dreams. I have been patient, I have learned, I have been rejected, but I have never given up believing in it."

A reference to Sinner?

What exactly Braccini is getting at here is not clear from the post, she simply says: "I have come a long way and put my signature on a really important piece of paper." In the last lines of her long post, some fans and media interpreted an allusion to the split with Jannik Sinner: "As the saying goes? For every door that closes, another one opens. See you soon."
