Can Sinner challenge 1st place? Zverev and Alcaraz challenged

The first ATP Masters tournament of the season began in California on Wednesday - and Jannik Sinner, the world's best player, is not there. Nevertheless, his pursuers Alexander Zverev and especially Carlos Alcaraz have more to lose in Indian Wells than the Pusterer.

Sinner is banned retroactively from February 9th until May 4th. This means he will not only miss Indian Wells and then Miami, but also the Masters tournaments in Monte Carlo and Madrid in April. But he can calmly watch how his pursuers in the world rankings fare in the next few weeks.
